California Bound

Wow... an entire week has past since my last post.  Doesn't seem possible.

I have been quite busy.  I'm in the middle of a 6 week online class which has
rocked my world... but more on that in another post.

For now... I will tell you... I am CALIFORNIA bound.  Scott has a business trip, and Lexi and I decided to tag along.  The hotel is in Laguna Beach.  I've been there a few times, and it never disappoints.  The biggest excitement revolves around the fact that I will get to see my son, who I haven't seen since last March... almost a year!  He moved out there last spring, and with all we have going on here, I haven't made it for a visit.

Get ready Wes... HERE WE COME.  I know he is excited to show us the sights of North Hollywood where he lives, and the other hot spots in L.A.  Believe me when I tell you I will post pics when we get back.  For now, I will share some pics of Laguna Beach taken last time I was there.

Hanging around town...

I have been reading all your blogs, but haven't been commenting much...
I'll get back to it soon!

Love you all so much,

Now I want to go. It looks so beautiful. Bring me some California sand in a zip lock and we'll go to the beach and compare our Florida sand with California's. I can't wait to hear all about Wes and what you think about your son in Hollywood.

Enjoy your trip! You are coming to my neck of the woods and hopefully the weather will hold up for you, it's been pretty nice here the past few days! If you are in Studio City (which is right next to North Hollywood), go to Aroma Cafe on Tujunga Ave. It's my fave cafe and a great people watching place! xxoo :)

Cathi...thanks for the tip. I will write it down. I told my son to pick out somewhere cool for lunch, and he picked Roscoe's... chicken and waffles... not sure how I feel about that!!!!!! But he's anxious to show off his new town, so I'm game for anything :)

This will be like a midterm break for you. Hmmm... wondering what class you are taking.
The last time I took an online course, it was Latin. No, I guess it was not practical, but I did enjoy. I learned more history than Latin.
I have not been to Laguna Beach, but I have friends that live near by, and they love it.
Hope yall have fun in the sun, and that Scott will have time to relax also.
