Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky

Guess what movie I'm hoping to see this week?

Doesn't it look fascinating?

I love stylized French movies.. they are the best.

There are only 2 obstacles in my way...

1.  Scott hates subtitles.
2. The movie is waaaaay across town... Scott hates distance and 5 o'clock traffic.

...but it IS my anniversary afterall...

Will I prevail?  I'll let you know.

Here's hoping...

P.S. Just watched a crazy French movie on Netflix instant view...
if you don't know about instant view... find out about it... it's fabulous.
The movie was called "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not"
Starring Audrey Tautou (of Amelie)
We are still trying to figure it out. Many twists and turns and really different!
Here's a sneak peek...

C'mon, Scott -- I bet you can endure the subtitles for a couple hours. You can lean over and whisper them in her ear the entire time... how romantic. But then, you might get kicked out of the theatre... hmmm....

Happy Anniversary!!!

I don't know... before I showed him this post and the movie trailer, he explained to me that for the next two weeks, he is going to be INCREDIBLY busy at work... budgets for next year, new assistant starting, fixing some problems across the state...

I have decided if we don't get to go, I will Netflix it in a few months, fix our favorite meal, and make an evening of it :)

The problem is the movie showings are very limited... we only have 2 chances to make it. Oh well!

I did not even know about this movie so thank you so much! He loves me... was fun wasn't it? Crazy. I have seen so many French movies, I love them. And, on this end hubby is cool with the subtitles, we have found so many good ones, German, Polish, etc.

I've had this on my radar screen too. GIrl, if you were here in Houston, we'd drive across town to see this together. Let me know if you make it to the show, and I'll do the same. It looks dreamy!
