My French Christmas Tree

The other day I showed you my family room, with all the cutsie Christmas stuff for the family.

My other side, is reflected in my living room/entry way. Eventually, I will phase out a lot of the "cute" and move into my more European phase... at least my version of it...

My oldest and dearest friend sent me this ornament, and that was the inspiration for the whole tree.

Table top live tree.

The tree is in the room no one sits in, except me, and that's only when I play the piano.

A very special blog friend sent me this card. I will cherish it always.

Sticker from The Beautiful Life.

Entry table with a scarf I bought in Paris in Sept.

Thought you might like to see my cross wall.

So there you have it.

Hope your shopping is going well.

Teri

Oh. My. Word. GORGEOUS!!!

I love how you used those Cavallini labels in your tree! Girl, you are something!

AND! I just gonna admit to it now --- I am SOOOO using your idea of the lights/ornaments together! But in my case, I may fill our outdoor stone birdbath with them and plug them in at night.

Teri -- just beautiful m'dear!

You know how much I love your French Christmas tree! I have some of those Joyeux Noel postcards, but I never thought about putting one in my tree. So clever! I really searched for some French ornaments in Paris, but that is not an easy task. I guess they all come from China. I did find two little ones that I will use to add to some others that I have collected through the years.

I love your wall of crosses--what a collection!

I love the scarf idea on your table. How clever. Must rummage around my scarf drawer as I need to add a few more touches here and there. Thanks for the idea!

Your decorations are lovely.

I love all things Paris myself. I have a collection of Eiffel Towers on my kitchen counter. I have never been but one day I will. My sister is currently spending a month in Paris with her husband, and nine month old baby girl for the Holidays! They rented an amazing apartment. I told her I didn't like her very much. It was snowing there this morning and I said "Why is Paris snow so much prettier than IOWA snow, go figure. She is blogging all about her adventures, just so I can be even more jealous.
Can't wait to follow your blog. I just started one myself!

Teri,
It is a real treat looking over all of your Christmas decor! I can just picture you and Charline getting it all done. It is especially fun to look at since this year our decorations consist of some lights around the patio and a cedar that that Jeff cut down (also on the patio!) You are so talented in SO many ways!
Love you all!
